on Easter morning we had a photo shoot with Jason's family since the whole family was in town. our photographer did a great job especially since group photos are really difficult. even though we had to wake up extra early on Easter morning for these pics I'm glad we did it. 

our photographer kept having us kiss and I felt like we were taking engagement photos- ha!

I just found this video of band St. Vincent on Austin City Limits from a few years ago and I can't get enough of it. lead singer Annie Clark is stunning and so incredibly talented. the tone of her voice is so unique and I love how it can sound either soft and gentle or dark and haunting depending on the song. this song definitely has a darker mood about it which I don't mind at all. I like my music to have some edge to it rather than formulaic and made to appeal to everyone. I would listen to St. Vincent over Taylor Swift or any mainstream pop artist any day.
